Appeal after serious road traffic collision in Blackwater

Officers are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in Blackwater.

Just after 9am today (Monday, 13 November) a collision occurred on Hawley Road involving two vehicles, a black Volkswagon Touareg and a blue Yamaha motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old man from Farnborough, received life threatening injuries.  He was airlifted to hospital in Tooting where he remains in a life threatening condition.

The driver of the Volkswagon, 31-year-old woman from Farnborough did not receive any injuries.

Inspector Barry Long, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision, and hasn’t already spoken to us, to get in touch.  Were you in the area at the time of the incident?  If you think you saw what happened or if you have any other information that you think could assist our investigation, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
