Two men have been arrested following a proactive stop and search in Winchester yesterday evening.
At around 7.55pm on 9 January, patrolling officers noticed suspicious behaviour in connection with a black Hyundai on Andover Road.
A quantity of suspected Class A drugs, cash, and two mobile phones were seized.
As a result, a 37-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A, and possession of criminal property.
During a subsequent search of his address another man, 36 from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Both remain in custody at this time.
