A police officer is due to appear at court charged with driving offences.
Lauren Payne, 26, based in Andover, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle with the alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit, and driving whilst unfit through drink.
The charges relate to an incident at Popham Services, on the A303, on 17 January, when the officer was on-duty.
She is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 4 February.
The officer has been suspended from duty while criminal proceedings are ongoing.
