A man has been charged with public order offences in Ryde.
Police recently received reports that between 7am and 9am on 14 January, a man had been following women and girls in the town.
As a result of enquiries, 26-year-old Dominic Crumby, of Daniel Street in Ryde, has been charged with four counts of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
He has been bailed with conditions and will appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on 14 February.
