Officers investigating multiple offences in Andover have today (17 January) arrested a man.
The 35-year-old man from Andover was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting, burglary, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon, and breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
He was arrested in connection with the following incidents:
• Three shopliftings from the Co-Op, East Anton Farm, between 7 and 9 January. Alcohol, cleaning products, and food were among the items stolen - with damage also being caused to an ATM.
• Between 8 and 9 January, entry was forced to an outbuilding at Tesco on Compton Square and alcohol stolen on two occasions.
• The theft of a Ring doorbell from an address on Camelot Close
• A shoplifting at Co-Op, London Road, on 15 January where alcohol was stolen.
• Also on 15 January, a man attended Tesco on Compton Square armed with a hammer.
The arrested man remains in custody at this time.
