A 40-year-old man from Reading has been charged with several offences following reported incidents in Eastleigh and Reading, Berkshire earlier this month.
Mark Douglas, of Phillips Drive, Shinfield was charged with assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm and criminal damage following a reported domestic-related incident on Nightingale Avenue on Sunday 19 January.
He was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place following a reported incident in Reading on Monday 27 January.
Douglas appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday and has been remanded in custody to next appear at the same court on Wednesday 5 February.
