A man has been arrested after officers found drugs during a proactive stop in Aldershot.
Officers from the Priority Crime Team conducted patrols in the town on Sunday 9 February and spotted suspicious activity linked to a Mazda car on Lower Farnham Road at 1.20pm.
The vehicle came to a natural stop on The Avenue and officers approached the vehicle. A strong smell of cannabis came from the car and officers carried out a search.
They found 18 bags of cannabis, £160 in cash and a nitrous oxide canister. All items were seized.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B, possessing a Class C controlled drug and using a vehicle without third party insurance.
He has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
