Officers investigating a report of a sexual assault in Aldershot have made an arrest.
We were called to a report that a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted over her clothing by a group of men on Gordon Road at around 2am on Sunday 2 February.
It was also reported that the woman was punched and suffered injuries to her face and legs.
Officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and have now made an arrest.
A 29-year-old man, from an address in Aldershot town centre, has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.
He has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
