A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences following a proactive stop in Aldershot.
Officers stopped a black Ford car on Alison’s Road at around 1am on Sunday 9 February.
They searched the vehicle and found 11 bags of suspected Class A drugs and £790 in cash. All items were seized.
A 25-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and driving a vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
He was also arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without third party insurance.
The man has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
