A man has been charged with drug offences following a proactive stop near Whitchurch.
Officers spotted suspicious activity linked to a Jeep car on the B3400 near Whitchurch at around 6pm on Friday 7 February.
Following a search of the car, officers found more than 20 bags of suspected Class A drugs, £860 in cash and two identity cards.
A man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged.
Mihail Dimitrov, 24, of no fixed abode, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, acquiring / using / possessing criminal property and possessing identity documents with intent.
He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (10 February).
