An 18-year-old man from Totton has been charged with weapon-related offences.
Rio Hodgson, of Clydesdale Way, has been charged with possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
It follows a stop search by officers in the area of Hanger Farm Park on Wednesday 12 February.
Hodgson has been released on bail to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 5 March.
