A woman has been jailed for 13 weeks after she stole items worth more than £70 from a shop in Aldershot.
Charlene Ellacott, 36, of North Lane, Aldershot, stole beauty products worth £72.98 from The Range on Ivy Road on 2 September.
She appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 16 September and pleaded guilty to one count of theft from a shop.
Ellacott was jailed for a total of 13 weeks.
Police Sergeant Rob Tiller, from the Aldershot Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Charlene Ellacott is a prolific shoplifter who stole more than £70 worth of items from a shop in Aldershot.
“Her behaviour has had a huge impact on various local businesses and retailers in the town.
“I hope this result sends a message to offenders that this level of behaviour and criminality will not be tolerated.”
