New Milton man charged with drug offences

A 35-year-old man from New Milton is due to appear in court, charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.

Thomas Michael Prior, of Pennywell Gardens, will also face charges of acquire / use / possess criminal property and being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a Class B drug.

The charges follow a reported importation incident at East Midlands Airport, Derby on Thursday 20 October 2022 and subsequent search of a property on Pennywell Gardens on Tuesday 8 November 2022.

Prior will appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 22 October following postal requisition.
