A man has been jailed for 12 weeks after he stole items worth almost £200 from stores in Fleet and Aldershot.
Stuart Austin, 49, of Alexandra Road, Alton, stole gin worth £168 from Sainsbury’s in Fleet on 16 August.
He also stole items, including cleaning products, worth £26.50 from the Co-op store on Lower Farnham Road, Aldershot, on 28 August.
Austin was charged with two counts of theft from a shop and pleaded guilty to both offences.
He was jailed for a total of 12 weeks at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 30 August.
