A man is due in court today after he was charged with shoplifting in Basingstoke.
George Pattinson, 27, of Castle Road, Basingstoke, has been charged with theft from a shop and failing to comply with a community protection notice.
It comes after officers received reports that food items worth £30 were stolen from Iceland in Festival Place yesterday (16 September).
Officers swiftly responded to the call and made an arrest at around 3pm.
Pattinson is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (17 September).
