A man has been charged with a drugs supply offence in Aldershot after he was arrested in Basingstoke this morning.
An investigation was launched after officers stopped a Skoda car on High Street, Aldershot, at around 2am on 28 September 2023.
The vehicle was searched and officers found suspected Class A drugs and more than £1,000 in cash.
A man was arrested and bailed with conditions while officers carried out a number of enquiries. The man then failed to return from bail in May 2024.
However, he was located by officers during a proactive stop in Chineham, Basingstoke, in the early hours of this morning (5 September).
Asmirald Abazi, 23, of Alric Avenue, London, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
Abazi is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court tomorrow (6 September).
