Officers investigating reports of two robberies in Basingstoke have made a second arrest.
We were called to a report that a 17-year-old boy was approached by two males who stole his watch and AirPods on Mortimer Lane at around 1.40pm on 30 September.
Officers also received a report that another 17-year-old boy was approached by two males who stole his phone and bank card near Church Street at around 2pm on 30 September.
Detectives launched an investigation and have now made two arrests.
Yesterday, a 21-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion two counts of robbery. He remains in custody while our enquiries continue.
It comes after a 16-year-old boy from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion two counts of robbery. He was bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
