A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle following a proactive stop in Whitchurch last night.
Officers on patrol spotted a vehicle which was believed to have been stolen and pulled the driver over on Winchester Street at around 10pm on Thursday 24 October.
A 43-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, using a motor vehicle without third party insurance and fraudulently using a registration mark / document.
He remains in custody while our enquiries continue.
The vehicle, a Nissan Navara, was seized at the scene.
