Man, 38, jailed for 26 weeks after breaching Criminal Behaviour Order in Aldershot

A man has been jailed for 26 weeks after breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) which banned him from entering Aldershot for two years.

Leonard Jones, 38, of no fixed abode, was charged with breaching a CBO, which had been issued on 7 September last year, after he was spotted on Ash Road, Aldershot, on 26 September.

Jones admitted the offence and was jailed for 26 weeks at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 27 September.

Police Sergeant Rob Tiller, from the Aldershot Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "A CBO was imposed in September, which banned Jones from entering Aldershot for two years, but he brazenly ignored this and was located in the town.

"We hope this reassures people that we will continue to take action to enforce CBOs that have been granted by the courts."
