Man, 44, charged after items worth more than £750 stolen from Fleet shop

A man has been charged after items worth more than £750 were stolen from a shop in Fleet.

Ben Price, 44, of Barnwood Road, Guildford, has been charged with one count of theft from a shop.

It comes after officers received a report that food and alcohol worth £758.70 was stolen from Sainsbury’s on Fleet Road yesterday (6 November).

Price was arrested and later charged. He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today.
