A 37-year-old man from Southampton has been charged with vehicle-related offences in the West End area.
Philip James Rosher, of no fixed abode has been charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent / using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance / driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence / and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
The charges follow a report of a vehicle theft on Thames Close in the early hours of yesterday morning (Wednesday 13 November).
Rosher is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday 14 November).
He will also face three charges of shoplifting and three of breach of restraining order.
Those charges follow reported incidents at Tesco Express, West End Road on Monday 23 September, Sunday 29 September and Thursday 3 October.
