A man has been charged after officers located a knife in Basingstoke yesterday.
We were called to a report that a man was seen with a knife in Market Place at 1.45pm on Wednesday 13 November.
Following a search of the area, officers located a knife and arrested a man at the scene.
Thomas Williams, 27, of Launcelot Close, Andover, has been charged with possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place and affray.
He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (14 November).
