We have carried out a warrant at a commercial premises on Shirley Road as part of an ongoing investigation into Class A drugs supply in Southampton.
Officers attended at approximately 2pm yesterday afternoon (Friday 3 May) and located a significant quantity of suspected Class A drugs.
We have arrested six people on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs - a 29 year old woman and five men aged 18, 22, 32, 34 and 44.
They are currently in police custody as we remain at the scene carrying out enquiries.
Yesterday’s warrant is part of our ongoing effort to target and disrupt the supply of drugs in Southampton. Drug supply exploits the most vulnerable members of our society and causes harm, violence and misery which is why we will continue to relentlessly pursue those involved.
