A man has been charged with shoplifting offences after items worth more than £550 were stolen from a store in Fleet.
Paul Cook, 37, of New Barn Close, Fleet, has been charged with eight counts of theft from a shop.
It comes after officers received reports that items worth a total of £574 were stolen from the Sainsbury’s store on Fleet Road between Thursday 11 April and Friday 3 May.
Cook has been bailed with conditions and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday 13 June.
