A 33-year-old man from Totton has been arrested and subsequently charged with five shoplifting offences.
Joseph Daniel Arnold, of no fixed abode, was detained in Totton shortly before 9pm on Wednesday 1 May.
He has since been remanded in custody and will next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 23 May.
Arnold is charged with thefts from Morrisons, Spruce Drive, Totton and Asda, Maynard Road, Totton between Wednesday 6 March and Tuesday 30 April.
