A man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after officers found suspected Class A drugs during a proactive stop in Basingstoke.
At around 6pm yesterday (8 May), officers spotted the driver of a Hyundai car acting suspiciously in the Brighton Hill area.
The vehicle was stopped on Winchester Road a short while later. Following a search of the car, officers found 10 bags of suspected Class A drugs.
A 22-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.
He has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
