A woman has been jailed for three years and six months after officers found more than £10,000 worth of Class A drugs at an address in Aldershot.

Abisola Ajayi, 30, of Dean Road, London, was arrested after officers carried out proactive patrols in the town centre on Sunday 7 April.

A phone, which was linked to drug activity, was found in the Municipal Gardens area and Ajayi was detained at the scene.

Officers then searched an address on Queens Road and located a large quantity of Class A drugs, including crack cocaine and cocaine worth approximately £11,000.

Offensive weapons, mobile phones and £900 in cash was also seized from the address.

A large quantity of designer products – including Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior and Moncler clothing – was also found inside the property.

Ajayi was charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and two counts of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

She was also charged with acquiring / using / possessing criminal property and possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid / gas / electrical incapacitation device.

Ajayi pleaded guilty to all charges and was jailed for 42 months at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 5 June.

Trainee Detective Constable Jonathan Heasman, from Hart & Rushmoor CID, said: “Abisola Ajayi was brazenly drug dealing in Aldershot until our officers proactively stopped her in the town centre.

“Following a search of a nearby address, she was found in possession of approximately £11,000 worth of Class A drugs and I’m pleased to say that these drugs are now off the streets.

“Ajayi appeared to use her criminality to fund an extravagant lifestyle as officers also seized a large amount of designer clothing, as well as £900 in cash.

“She will now be behind bars for a long period of time and I hope this result highlights how seriously we take drug activity in the district.

“Drug supply causes harm and misery to our communities but our officers are determined to keep relentlessly pursuing criminals to reduce the negative impact they have, making it safe for everyone.”
