Three people have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Sainsbury's, Leigh Road, Eastleigh this morning (Tuesday 4 June).
A 20-year-old man from Bishopstoke was arrested on Market Street, Eastleigh on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal, and assault by beating.
A 24-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on St Catherine's Road, Eastleigh on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
A 17-year-old boy from Southampton was arrested on Wells Place, Eastleigh on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
The incident was reported to police shortly after 5am. It was stated that entry was forced to the premises.
The two men and boy remain in police custody at this time.
