A 15-year-old boy from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, making off without payment and possession of a controlled drug of Class B.
The teenager was detained in Jessica Crescent, Totton shortly after 9pm on Saturday (8 June).
A motorbike, reported stolen from Warburton Road, Southampton earlier in the evening, was recovered and seized by officers at the time of the arrest.
A making off without payment was reported at a service station on Winchester Road, Fair Oak - also earlier on Saturday evening.
The boy has since been released on conditional police bail until Sunday 8 September, pending further enquiries.
