Man, 45, arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Basingstoke

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following a proactive stop in Basingstoke.
At around 2am on Saturday 15 June, officers stopped a Vauxhall Corsa on Sinclair Drive.
Following a search, suspected Class A drugs and £1,800 in cash was found and seized.
A 45-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
He has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
