Man, 35, charged with six shopliftings from Eastleigh stores

A 35-year-old man from Southampton has been charged in connection with six shopliftings from stores in Eastleigh.
Laurence Benjamin Cuthbert, of no fixed abode, was arrested yesterday morning (Wednesday 12 June) and subsequently charged with thefts from Tesco, Swan Centre and Sainsbury’s, Leigh Road between Sunday 2 June and Wednesday 5 June.
Cuthbert appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded on conditional bail, to next appear at court on Thursday 1 August.
