A man has been arrested after tools worth more than £3,000 were stolen from a car in Aldershot.
We were called to a report that a number of items, including power tools and batteries, had been stolen from a car on Weybourne Road between 10pm on 29 June and 11.30am on 30 June.
Officers then received another call at around 10.45pm last night (30 June) to a report that the stolen tools had been seen on Weybourne Road.
A man was stopped by members of the public and was later arrested by officers.
A 35-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle. He remains in custody at this time, while our enquiries continue.
