A man has been arrested after officers found more than 50 wraps of suspected Class A drugs in Aldershot.
Officers were on a proactive patrol yesterday (25 July) when they noticed suspicious activity in a woodland area off Redan Road.
A man tried to flee the area but was detained at the scene.
Following a search of the area, officers found a bag containing more than 50 wraps on suspected Class A drugs.
Two mobile phones and £350 in cash was also seized.
A 29-year-old man from Croydon was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
He has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
