Two people have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of cocaine, after officers stopped a vehicle in Basingstoke.
Officers stopped a car in Bounty Road at around 1pm on Sunday 30 June.
Inside the car, they found mobile phones and cash. Cocaine was found during a subsequent search of a related address in Basingstoke.
Two people who had been in the vehicle were arrested.
A 20-year-old man from Basingstoke and a 49-year-old man from London were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug and a money laundering offence.
The 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a false identity document.
Both men are currently in police custody while we carry out further enquiries.
These arrests form part of our wider work to disrupt the supply of Class A drugs and protect people from drug-related harm.
Any information about drug supply that is submitted to us can help build a better picture of what is happening, so that we can allocate our resources and take action.
