Two men have today been arrested after officers found a large amount of cannabis inside a Basingstoke property.
Officers from the Basingstoke Priority Crime Team and Neighbourhood Enforcement Team carried out two separate warrants at addresses on Knight Street and Priestley Road.
A large amount of cannabis was found inside the Knight Street address following the warrant this morning (8 January).
Cash and electronic equipment was seized from the Priestley Road property.
Two men, both aged 40 and from Basingstoke, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
They both remain in custody and our enquiries are ongoing.
