A 30-year-old man from New Milton has been charged with two shopliftings from stores in New Milton.
Richard Albert Wrate, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Lymington Road, Christchurch on Friday (26 January).
It follows two reported incidents earlier this month, one at Morrisons, Station Road, New Milton on Monday 15 January and another at Marks & Spencer, Station Road, New Milton on Tuesday 16 January.
Wrate has since been released on conditional bail, to next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 27 February.
