Man, 28, charged with assault, criminal damage and shoplifting in Ringwood

A 28-year-old man from Bournemouth has been charged with assault by beating, criminal damage and shoplifting.

Jordan Ashley Burnell, of Cecil Road, was arrested by officers at 8.45pm on Monday (8 January), shortly after incidents were reported at two shops on Butlers Lane, Ringwood.

Burnell was remanded in custody and due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Wednesday 10 January).
