Officers have recovered a large number of suspected stolen garden power tools from an area of woodland off The Welsh Drive in Eversley.
The tools, which include leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and chainsaws, were found at around 6.30pm last night (Monday 15 January) by a Police Liaison Officer from Datatag.
Officers have launched an investigation and enquiries remain ongoing to identify the rightful owners of the equipment.
If you believe you have been a victim of crime recently, or have had similar items stolen from your property, please contact 101, quoting 44240021322.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind tool owners to ensure their equipment is marked.
Our plea to tool owners is to protectively mark your equipment so that if it is ever lost or stolen, it can be easily returned to you when it is found.
You can register your valuables using the website Immobilise, which is a free service that can help reunite recovered items with their owners.
In the very unfortunate case that you have property stolen from you, if you have registered it using Immobilise, the chances of it being returned are greatly improved.
