A woman has been charged following shoplifting offences in the Millbrook area of Southampton.
On Tuesday (30 January) at approximately 10.20pm it was reported that a woman was in the process of stealing various items and being abusive to staff at the Tesco store on Wimpson Lane.
Officers attended and arrested the woman.
Karis Michaela McGeorge, 37, of Buttermere Close, has now been charged with three counts of theft from a shop, three counts of failing to comply with a community protection notice and breaking bail conditions.
She appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 1 February), where she was remanded into custody to appear at the same court on March 22nd.
