A 22-year-old man from Southampton has been charged in connection with drug dealing offences in the city.
Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 14 February) officers from Southampton’s Priority Crime Team were patrolling the Northam area of the city when they spotted what they suspected to be drug-related activity.
A man was detained and searched on Derby Road under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and suspected Class A drugs worth between £3000 and £4,200 and cash were located.
Mohamed Bailoh Bah, of Milton Road, was arrested and has now been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin. He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Friday 16 February).
