A man has been charged in connection with several shoplifting offences after more than £1300 worth of stock was reported stolen from stores at West Quay Shopping Centre in Southampton.
It was reported to police that make-up and beauty products worth almost £800 had been taken from Marks & Spencer, £150 worth of whisky had been taken from John Lewis and candles and clothing worth £440 had been taken from Next.
Martin Manjinder Singh, 47, of Southampton Street, has been charged with four counts of theft from a shop and is next due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 27 February.
