A man has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence following a proactive stop in Aldershot.
Officers stopped a car on St Michael’s Road on Saturday 3 February. A man exited the vehicle and a short foot chase ensued. Bags of Class B drugs were found.
The man was detained on nearby Pound Road.
A 35-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.
He was also arrested on suspicion of using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance.
The man has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
