Man, 35, arrested after officers investigate suspicious incident in Farnborough

Officers investigating a report of suspicious behaviour on Giffard Drive in Farnborough have arrested a man.

We received reports that a man had acted inappropriately towards a 15-year-old girl on Wednesday 14 February.

Officers launched an investigation and on Friday 16 February, a 35-year-old man from Farnborough was arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity in presence of a child.

He was also arrested on suspicion of using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and possessing a controlled drug of Class A.

The man has been bailed with conditions until 16 May while our enquiries remain ongoing.
