A 30-year-old man from New Milton has been charged with fraud by false representation and two shopliftings.
Thomas James Gunner, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Marryat Road, New Milton on Wednesday 24 January.
It follows reported incidents at Morrisons, Beechwood Avenue, New Milton on Tuesday 16 January, Morrisons Daily, Avenue Road, New Milton on Wednesday 17 January and Tesco Express, Old Milton Road, New Milton on 24 January.
Gunner has also been charged with common assault of an emergency worker and fail to attend / remain for initial assessment following test for presence of Class A drug.
He has been released on conditional bail to next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 19 March.
