Man, 35, charged with offensive weapon and shoplifting offences

A 35-year-old man from Southampton has been charged with shoplifting and possessing a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place.

Luke Anthony Hemming, of no fixed abode was due to face the charges at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday 16 December).

The charges follow a reported theft from Tesco Express, St Lukes Close, Hedge End on Saturday (14 December).
