Two people have been charged with multiple shopliftings from a store in Blackfield.
Robert Jones, 35, of Pendleton Gardens, Blackfield has been charged with three counts of shoplifting from Sainsbury’s, Hampton Lane.
It follows reports of thefts from the store between Saturday 23 November and Monday 9 December.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday 19 December).
He has been remanded on conditional bail to next appear at the same court on Monday 20 January.
Betsy-Jade Pauline Rose King, 28, of Pendleton Gardens, has been charged with six counts of shoplifting from the same Sainsbury’s store.
It follows reports of thefts from the shop between Saturday 23 November and Thursday 12 December.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges when she appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday 19 December).
She has been remanded on conditional bail to next appear at the same court on Monday 20 January.
