Police have charged two more men with violent disorder following a protest in Aldershot.
Officers were called to a protest that was taking place outside the Potters International Hotel on Wednesday 31 July.
Although the majority gathered in a peaceful manner, some disorder was reported.
Our officers were swiftly on scene and were able to disperse the group quickly.
Sadly, one of our officers suffered a minor injury as a result of the disruption.
Today (Saturday 10 August), the following two men were charged with violent disorder:
A total of seven people have now been charged with violent disorder in connection with this investigation. Five individuals were charged last night (9 August). They are:
Joe Howell has also been charged with assault by beating of an emergency worker.
All seven are due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday 13 August.
