Man charged with assault of staff member at Southampton store

A 55-year-old man has been charged with the assault of a staff member at a Greggs store in Southampton.
On Thursday 22 August, a man entered the Greggs store on Above Bar Street and was verbally abusive to staff. He then threw a cup of hot water at a member of staff, who was not injured.
Jonathan Walker, of no fixed abode, has now been arrested and charged with assault.
He is next due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Thursday 31 October.
