A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences following a proactive stop near Hartley Wintney yesterday.
Officers stopped a Volkswagen Passat on the A30 at around 12.20pm yesterday (21 August).
They searched the vehicle and found a black sock containing suspected Class A drugs, drug paraphernalia and £410 in cash. All items were seized.
A 30-year-old man from East Molesey, Surrey, and an 18-year-old woman from Epsom, Surrey, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
They have been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
