A man and woman from Southampton have been charged in connection with shoplifting offences in Bursledon, Netley and Hedge End.
Jody Kahlid Moylette, 40, of International Way, Southampton was arrested on Friday 26 April.
He was later charged with two shopliftings and appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court the following day (Saturday 27 April).
He has been remanded on conditional bail to next appear at court on Tuesday 7 May.
The charges relate to reported incidents at Next, Charles Watts Way, Hedge End on Monday 8 April and One Stop, Portsmouth Road, Bursledon on Saturday 30 March.
Jodie Marie McDermott, 34, of International Way, Southampton has been arrested and charged with three shopliftings.
She has also been remanded on conditional bail to next appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 7 May.
The charges against McDermott relate to reported incidents at Co-op, Station Road, Netley on Wednesday 27 March, One Stop, Portsmouth Road, Bursledon on Saturday 30 March and Next, Charles Watts Way, Hedge End on Monday 8 April.
